Patrick Dumont of Edmonton, formerly of Camrose and Edmundston New Brunswick, friend of Catherine Harder of Camrose, and son of Gilles Dumont and Donna Cyr (James Landry), passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the age of 30 years.
Besides his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Gilberte Poitras (the late Donald Cyr), his paternal grandparents, Dieudonne Dumont and Ms. Rina Caron, his uncles and aunts, Denise Cyr (Rene Boucher), Dennis Cyr (Francine Pelletier), Danielle Cyr (Dave Deschenes), Diane Cyr (Mike Bard), Andree Dumont (Dave Veno), Louise Dumont (John Law), Denise Dumont (Daniel Ringuette), Nadia Cantonni (late Rene Dumont). Patrick is also survived by his cousins, Stephanie and Dominique Bujold, Mathieu Cyr, Fanny and Leoa Dumont, Madison Ringuette and James' son Jamie Landry.
He joined for the Grand Voyage his grandfather Donald Cyr, and his uncle Rene Dumont.
A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm., from The Burgar Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of The Word will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 1:30-4:00pm, at the Bellavance Funeral Home in Edmundston, New Brunswick.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to a charity of their choice.
