Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. David McNutt of Camrose, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the age of 69 years. David McNutt was the baby in the family born March 1st 1945 in Victoria, B.C. He had two brothers George and Robert and one sister Joyce. At an early age 16 he joined the Canadian Navy and was proud to serve his country. Throughout the years he had many jobs which gave him a chance to travel the world. He managed to just about live in every province in Canada, Ontario, Quebec, B.C, Manitoba and finally Alberta. He worked his way up to become the Vice President of Zellers. He loved bowling and was happily to be the first person to represent it to Australia as five pin bowling. I his wife Melissa was very pleased to have married such a wonderful kind hearted gentleman on October 7th 2007. He showed me a good life is possible if you work hard at your dreams. Although David had many illnesses for so many years, he still believed in God to give him strength to enjoy life. When David and I got together he fought every bit to want to live life again and even better. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melissa, and his three children, Paul (Beverly) of Calgary, Karen (Bob) Davis of Camrose, and Christopher of Edmonton. David is also survived by his nine grandchildren, one brother and one sister. He was predeceased by his parents. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., from The Bawlf Lutheran Church with Rev. Bill Harder officiating. Cremation has taken place. If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Salvation Army.
