Obituary of Kathleen White

Kathleen (Kay) Elizabeth White, nee Flookes, born July 9, 1915 in Montreal, Quebec passed away peacefully Sunday February 22, 2015 in Camrose Alberta. Her final resting place is with Dad at Rideaux Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of the Good Shepherd, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur (1968) and twin sons John (1980), and Walter (1998). She is survived by her children; Arthur (Dawn), Ellen Mills (Gary), Eleanor (Ken Burd), twins, Stephen, Stephanie Dodds (Robert) and Douglas (Tara), grandchildren; Randy, Laura Houghton (John), Robbie (Erin), Anthony Mills (Jennifer), Richell Nordhaus (Dave), Kimberly, Christopher, Jessica, Jason, Graeme, Matthew, Charles Burd, Richard Burd, Kathleen Dodds, Lindsay Dodds, and great-grandchildren Lynsey, Connor, Blaine, Brady, Natalie, Sura, Garrus, Julian, Ashleigh, Paulina, Braeden, Christoffer, Shelby and Kolby. Kay exemplified service and volunteerism by being an active member of The Order of the Eastern Star, The Daughters of Rebekah, The Arthritis Society and the Anglican Church for many decades. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the charity of donor's choice. The family wish to thank community members for their warm welcome, kindness, love and support extended to their Mom. They would also like to thank the staff at Louise Jensen Care Centre for all their loving care, kindness and support. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep.
