Mr. Andrew Nels Lantz of Camrose passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Camrose at the age of 76 years.
Andy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Irene; four children David (Wandee) of Thailand, Lynette (J-P Poirier) of Surrey, BC, Don (Michelle) of Australia and Heather (Allan) of Calgary; six grandchildren Carrie, Erin, Liam, Ari, Ava and Elizabeth as well as two great-grandchildren Hanna and Hailey. He is also survived by his two brothers Edward (Gwen) and Kenneth (Penny) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Andy was predeceased by his parents Otto and Mayme Lantz and one infant brother Donald.
Vigil services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Eduardo Escober as celebrant. Interment to follow in the Zion Lutheran Community Cemetery, Millet, AB.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are gratefully accepted in memory of Andy to The Alberta Cancer Foundation.
