Obituary of Anne Crump
Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anne Crump of Camrose, formerly of Thorhild, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer.
For the past 19 years Anne relied on her positive attitude, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as motivation in seeing her through this battle.
For many years Anne was employed in the food service industry as a chef. She worked at the Norsemen Inn, A-1 Catering, Albert's and the Bingo Hall and eventually retired at the age of 60 for health reasons.
Anne's greatest love was cooking and baking. She enjoyed preparing home-cooked meals for her family and grinned as the food disappeared quickly off the plates. She loved playing bingo, doing word searches and listening to old country and western music. Helping others was second nature to Anne.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Mary (Philip) Dowhaniuk of Calgary, and Helen (Don) Keller of Edmonton; daughters Carol Malone (Darcy Goertzen) of Medicine Hat, and Connie Crump of Camrose; grandchildren Kristina (Mike) Tibbo, Justin Crump, Sheldon (Janine) Schmidt, Derrick Schmidt (Janelle Luvan), Tyler Malone, Fred Malone, and Brody Malone; and great grandchildren Hudson Tibbo, and Emma Swann Malone.Anne was predeceased by her husband Bob Crump; parents Joseph and Anne Borys; and brother Mike (Olga) Borys.
Anne will be forever loved and cherished in our memories.
A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dave Hesje officiating. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Cross Cancer Clinic.
