Obituary of Ida Gunderson

Ida Lillian Gunderson was born to Gunder and Maria Gunderson on April 30, 1922 at Bawlf, Alberta. Ida took all her schooling at Bawlf. She was confirmed at Bawlf Lutheran Church. Ida was a stay at home person, she helped her mom with the house work and garden. After her parents passed away she stayed on the farm with her brother Oscar. They stayed there until Oscar's health got so bad that he had to quit farming. They sold the farm and moved into Camrose and lived in an apartment until Oscar passed away. Then Ida moved to Stony Creek Lodge, she was there until her health started to fail, then she moved to Louise Jensen where she passed away on April 23, 2015 at the age of 92 years. Ida was predeceased by her father and mother; brother Oscar; and niece Jacquie. Ida will be missed by her brother Mel and his wife Iva; three nieces; and one nephew. A Graveside Service was held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 from the Hegre Church Cemetery with Rev. David Eriksson officiating. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
