Chester Gerald Forre, the first son of Lewis and Clara, was born on a farm across from the Skudesness Lutheran Church on January 26, 1926. He was baptized and confirmed in the Skudesness Church and was a dedicated member of the congregation. Chester married the love of his life Valerie on November 15, 1969 and gained an instant family. He dearly loved his family and his five grandchildren were his pride and joy. As well as milking cows and farming, he drove school bus for many years. He enjoyed camping, floorcurling, fishing, gardening, card games and visiting with friends and family. Chester lived on the family farm in the Likness district for 84 years until they moved into Camrose in 2010. He passed away peacefully on May 8, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Valerie; daughter Bev Dalen; son Glenn (Cheryl); five grandchildren Nathan, Janelle, Joshua(Kayla), Matthew and Julia; two brothers Ernie (Claire) and Leroy (Esther); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Chester will be fondly remembered for his kind and loving nature. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
