With great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother at the North Shore Hospice in North Vancouver on Monday June 22, 2015. Olive was born and raised in the Lougheed/Hardisty area and resided for most of her life in Calgary, Viking and Camrose. In February of this year, Olive moved to Vancouver to be closer to her daughter Linda. In May, she was diagnosed; in June died of terminal cancer. Olive was predeceased by: her husband Wes Barber, mother & father James & Margaret Mc Clements, brothers & sister in-laws' James & Sadie, Leslie & Josephine & Reggie Mc Clements, niece Bonnie Mathews, great nephew Richard Lung, Tillie & James Bell Sr., Doug, Robert & James Bell, and nephew Gary Bell. Olive is survived by her children: Linda Garfitt (Wayne Jackson), Laun Bell (Andrea Blonsky), Janice (Adrian) Makowecki; step- children: Lynn (John) Pullen, Karen (Doug) Roberts & like a son Nino Pacia (Jinx & James). Grandchildren: Karen(Jason) Svitich, Kurt (Nicole) Sorochak, Shannon(Steven) Kokotilo, Dustin Bell (Karine), Adam Bell, Kailyn Bell, Bradley (Heather) Makowecki, Alanda (Cody) Skrzekowski, Jak (Stephanie), Sean, Jay (Christi) Pullen, Lee, Rae & Luke Roberts. Great grandchildren: Ethan & Andrew Svitich, Nikulus & Selina Kokotilo, Ari Bell, Natalie & Danica Skrzekowski, Scarlett & Alexander Makowecki, Dylan, Kaden, Aryn, Brady and Calder Pullen. In-laws: Adele Mc Clements, Helen, Muriel, Irving (Doreen), Rod (Doreen) Bell, Doris (Robert) Moulder, many nieces & nephews. A funeral service was held on Saturday,July 11, 2015 at 1:00pm from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817- 51 ave Camrose AB. with Re. Doug de Souza officiating.
Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose cemetery.
