I leave to remember me, my loving husband of 38 years Lorne Spooner; my three children Monty (Kathy) Jensen, Tammy Jensen (Claude) and Sandy Janzen (Les); two step-children Tod (Carla) Spooner and Michelle (Ray) Spooner; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by father Arnold and mother Selma; and younger brother Wayne. Surviving brother Garth (Pat) Hendricks; sisters Betty (Vern) Jordon and Helen (Archie) Ellis; and many friends who have made me happy over the years. I would like to thank all of you, through the tears, laughter and joy we have shared throughout my life. A special message for my husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: "Please always stand together in good times and bad. Work hard to stay a family. And to each of you: Enjoy all of the laughter and joy to come. I love you all; Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Friend." A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., from the Hi-U Center in Ferintosh, Alberta. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Ferintosh Central Valley Cemetery.
