Marlin, Shauna, Michelle & Families; With love and fond remembrance, I just wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to you, on the loss of your beloved Grandpa Irv. Dinner with Grandpa Irv & Grandma at the 'Saratoga,' on the south side of Edmonton. Still, a cherished memory, for me. Though it may feel like you’ve lost your anchor, his loving legacy will be the rudder with which you’ll continue to steer your lives. All he taught, all he gave and all of his love, remain with you. May his many gifts and your many wonderful memories of him, give you all comfort at this very difficult time. My thoughts are with you. Marina (Thomas) Shoff

Thank you Lord for lending me the very best Grandpa a girl could ever ask for. Now that you have taken him back home, I will always remember Grandpa's many words of wisdom, his sharp mind while telling stories of his youth, of farming, of fishing trips, as well, many life lessons and his strong christian belief. For nearly fifty years I had the gift of his love, patience and understanding. Grandpa, I love you so much and you will always be sadly missed. Thank you for always having my back. I know, because of you that you are indeed having one glorious reunion up in heaven. Love from your Grandaughter, Shauna
