Lorraine and Randy retired to Camrose in 1996, where the couple became active members of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Camrose community. Lorraine passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Bethany Meadows care facility, where she had resided and was lovingly cared for by the nurses and staff since Randy's death in 2006. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Carl (1968) and Minnie (1969), sister Ethel (1917-1957), brother George (1919-1983), sister Arlene (1922-1992), and by infant daughter Christine (1950). A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 from Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Deborah Ann Taylor officiating. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Canadian Bible Society, Lutheran World Relief, or to Bethel Lutheran Church in Camrose.
