Florence Doreen Mosand of Bawlf passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 83 years.
Florence Doreen was born September 17, 1932. Her parents were Lydia and John Gertsch. She grew up on the family farm and went to school at Chirbury and Daysland.
She was a telephone operator in Bawlf. Florence liked farm life and spent as much time as she could outdoors.
In 1953, she married Milton Mosand, and to this union were born David, Laurie, and Kathleen.
Florence was predeceased by her parents, infant brother Freddie, sister Lucy, and brothers Johnny and Walter. Surviving are sisters Erna Storvik and Alma Gunderson.
She leaves to mourn her husband Milton; children Dave of Bawlf, Laurie (Colleen) of Bawlf and their children Lindsay (David) Jacobsen and Kristen, and Kathleen (Reg) Hauser of Leduc and their children Scott and Michael.
A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 from the Bawlf Lutheran Church. Inurnment has taken place in the Bawlf Lutheran Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Bawlf Lutheran Church, or to STARS.
