Mr. Peter Stefanizyn of Viking, Alberta, passed away on Saturday February 28, 2009 at the Viking Extendicare at the age of 97 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children: Diana (Frank) Tchir of Errington, B.C., Jerome (Gloria) of Holden, Sharon Ferrucci of Prince George, B.C., Janice (Tim) Burns of San Diego, California and Veronica (Wayne) Banack of Camrose, 10 grandchildren and one brother Edward Stephens of Edmonton
Peter was predeceased by his wife Valarie parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Prayer services were held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel in Camrose (4817-51 Ave).
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from St, Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Eduardo Escober as celebrant.
Interment followed in the Camrose cemetery.
