Beatrice Elizabeth Knipe of Stony Plain passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Beatrice was born in Daysland, Alberta to Albert and Esther Stelfox. She spent her youth at Daysland and Victoria, BC. Frederick and Beatrice were married April 12, 1948 in Edmonton. They have lived in Camrose, Vancouver Island, Fort St. John, Pincher Creek, Cochrane and Bea's last residence was in Stony Plain. They raised Fred's two sons Sidney and David from Fred's first marriage to Esther, Bea's sister. They also have four children, Kenneth (Linda) of Fort St John, Russ (Holly) of Stony Plain, Rodney of Dawson Creek, Ruth Mulzet (Glen) of Edmonton. They have 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Beatrice's parents met the gospel in 1917. She also embraced the gospel at 10 years of age and her faith was her joy and strength throughout her life. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Fred; sons Sidney and David; and siblings JEssie Murchie, Kathleen Blonke, Frank Stelfox, Esther Knipe, Tom Stelfox, Joyce Howlett, and Andrea Stelfox. A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2015 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Bethany Foundation Cochrane, or to the Good Samaritan Stony Plain Care Centre (4800 55 Avenue Stony Plain, Alberta T7Z 1P9).
