Barb and I were blessed each time we saw George. He was a blessing to so many others as well. LCBI in Outlook and Lutheran Theological Seminary were also so greatly blessed by his leadership. I will never forget the blessings he gave me through the prayers he would speak when I visited him in recent years. George, thank you. You are HOME now!

Dr Evenson has been an inspiration to our family for 77 years....since his arrival in Moose Jaw. His genuine and sincere interest in all that he served and knew was so impactful! He emboldened the faith of all that he met in his long and legendary life with us. His significant influence deserves to be celebrated! To God be the glory! Don Vinge

Dr. Evenson was a major influence in my life. His dedication to the Gospel was unwavering. His memory was phenomenal. His work at LCBI carried the school for years during tough times. He would only say if you asked him "To God be the glory!" It was an honour to know this man of God.

Heaven surely is rejoicing over Dr. Evenson. He touched the lives of everyone he met, continuing to minister to the elderly when he himself was elderly. Your influence was generational. Thank you for the influence that you had on my father's life as well as my own. You helped to mold him into the pastor that he is today, which in turn helped to mold me into the Christian I am today. For that, I am forever grateful. Well done, good and faithful servant.
