Obituary of Bryan Kinsella
Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bryan Christopher Theodore James Kinsella passed away November 14,2015 at the age of 45. Bryan was born February 4, 1970 in LaSalle, Quebec to Susan Irene Anita (Renaud) Kinsella and Ted Kinsella.
Bryan grew up in Ontario, but moved out to Edmonton, Alberta with his cousin Fred as a young man. It was here that he met Carrie (Booth) Kinsella in 1988. The couple was married in August of 1992. Carrie and Bryan's marriage was blessed with the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Amber Chantelle Kinsella in December of 1992, completing their family until the addition of their grandchildren in the years to come.
Unfortunately, Bryan was diagnosed with early-onset Huntington's Disease which progressed rapidly. Bryan was cared for in the last several years by the staff, caregivers and volunteers of Rosehaven Care Centre's Memory Lane. It was here that Bryan was supported while battling the debilitating and youth-depriving disease.
Bryan was predeceased by his father Ted Kinsella and cousin Fred Renaud.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Irene Anita (Renaud) Kinsella, daughter Amber Kinsella (Devon Panas), granddaughter Alora Panas, grandson Darius Panas, former spouse Carrie Kinsella, sister Theresa-Lynn Kinsella (Rick Sturgeon) and niece Brandi Roberts, brother Daniel Kinsella, niece Carol Kinsella, sister and brother-in-law Catherine and Brett Browne, niece Alexis Browne and nephew Dryden Browne.
Bryan's family would like to thank the staff, caregivers and many volunteers who assisted Bryan in bringing dignity and humanity in his final days.
The family has chosen to celebrate Bryan's life privately in lieu of a formal service. He was "MUCH LOVED AND WILL BE MISSED!"
The family welcomes donations to The Huntington's Society of Canada and appreciate all cards of condolences which can be left in the care of Burgar Funeral Home. Special thanks and gratitude to Cam Parker who has supported the family once again. His care, compassion and empathy have been more valuable than can be expressed.
