Walter Joseph Kosinski, formerly of Daysland, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Tofield, Alberta, at the age of 100 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews; Dayle (Walter) Onyschuk of Sherwood Park and their families, Aubrey Slavik and family of Strome, as well as numerous additional nieces and nephews. Walter is also survived by his sisters in-law; Helen Kosinski of Athabasca and Annie Kosinski of Camrose.
Walter was predeceased by his wife Anna and eight brothers; Frank, Mike, Joe, Casper, Albert, Louie, Tony, and John, and five sisters; Katie, Mary, Rosie, Nellie, and infant sister Annie, and parents; Wocjec and Katerina.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Daysland Hospital for the excellent care Walter was given and especially to all his caregivers at Tofield Long Term Care. He won their hearts and was treated very special. Thank-you so much for being a part of his life.
A celebration of life was on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 12 Noon at the Sunbeam Drop-In Centre (5007 50th St., Daysland).
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers to The Tofield Health Centre Long Term Care Facility or The Daysland Hospital Foundation.
