Obituary of Arthur "Art" Briggs

Mr. Art Briggs of Camrose formerly of Creston B.C. passed away on Wednesday. March 18, 2009 at the age of 80 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ann, his children Kim (Dennis) Presisniuk of Edmonton, Shelly (Graham) Boyce of Calgary, Jason Carpenter of Edmonton, Scott (Angie) Carpenter of Duncan B.C., Anita (Red) of Edmonton, Dorothy Briggs of Edmonton, Louise (Noel)Allin of Edmonton, Gordon (Doreen) Briggs of Sherwood Park, and Rose Steele of Edmonton, Art is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, his three brothers, Douglas (Cora) Briggs, Hillis (Marlene) Briggs, Richard Briggs his two sisters, Elizabeth Riedle and Marion Fenton.
Art was predeceased by his parents, and a daughter, Michelle.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 2:00pm., from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Alan Richards officiating. Cremation has taken place.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accpeted to The Alberta Cancer Foundation.
