Mr. Lawrence Martin Hovland of Camrose, formerly of Holden, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the age of 95 years.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Constance and children: Lorraine of Camrose, Vern (Kathleen) of Holden, and Marilyn (Don) McMillan of Wetaskiwin. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Christina (Kent) of Calgary, Jesse of Calgary, Travis (Kate) of Sherwood Park and Thomas of Saskatoon; two great-grandchildren; and his sister Kathryn Holte of Camrose.
Lawrence was predeceased by his brother Oscar and sisters: Amanda, Malinda, Lucille, Clara, and Sophia.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Zion Lutheran Church (Ryley South) with Rev. Calvin Skriver officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
