Germaine Lillian Brausen of Camrose, formerly of the Daysland and Heisler area, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the age of 86 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Bonnie Petterson of Red Deer, Judy (Russell) Sommer of Camrose, Barb (Colin) Kroetsch of Heisler, Debbie (Brian) Wolbeck of Heisler, Richard (Karolee) Brausen of Edmonton, Annette (John) Glazer of Bowden, Raymond (Adele) Brausen of Grande Prairie, Clifford (Pam) Brausen of Sylvan Lake, and Joe (Darlene) Brausen of Grande Prairie; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; brother Philip; and step-sister Lois Brausen.
Germaine was predeceased by her husband Glen; son David; three brothers Alfred, Edward, and Cecil; son-in-law Les; three step-brothers Sylvester, Marvin, and Allan; and two step-sisters Iris and Berneice.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from St. Martins Roman Catholic Church, Heisler.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from St. Martins Roman Catholic Church, Heisler with Rev. Leon Kler as celebrant. Interment has taken place in the Spring Lake Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Spring Lake Cemetery Fund, or to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Unit 2.
