Lawrence Komarnisky of Holden, Alberta was born on August 24, 1936. He passed away on May 15, 2016 in Daysland at the age of 79.
He attended Sandstorm School for Grade 1, Scona School for Grade 2 and 3, and then Holden School.
In 1960, Lawrence married Diane Sroka. They had their son Dean in 1969. Dean was married in 1990 to Jo Ann. Lawrence's first grandson Preston was born in 1990 and second grandson Brandon was born in 1993.
He is survived by his loving wife Diane; son Dean (Jo Ann); grandsons Preston and Brandon; and nephews Orest and Ronnie.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Annie; his brother John and sister Marion; nephew Eugene and niece Sandra.
A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church, Daysland with Rev. Greg Faryna officiating. Interment has taken place in the Daysland Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Daysland.
