Hendrikje "Rika" Margaretha Fankhanel of Camrose, formerly of Heisler, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Edward of Edmonton, Leo (Connie) of Edmonton, Ann (Hari) Narayan of Stony Plain, Lucy (Don) Bieganek of Edmonton, John (Kenjie) of Beaumont, Mary (Norm) Twitchell of Edmonton, Betty (Ken) Mourits of Calmar, Donna Feutchmann of St. Albert, Patricia (David) Kopas of Bashaw, Richard (Gladys) of Calgary, and James (Ardis) of Edmonton; 28 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Rika was predeceased by her husband Francis, daughter Margaretha, four brothers, and one sister.
A Private Family Service will be held.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Daysland Hospital Foundation, or to the charity of one's choice.
