Mr. Albert Campbell of Round Hill, formerly of Grande Prairie, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose at the age of 93 years.
Albert is survived by his step-daughter Shirley (Buster) Brown of Grande Prairie; three brothers: Tom Campbell of Camrose, Stewart (Jeanne) Campbell of Round Hill and Lester (Donna) Campbell of Edmonton; two sisters: Doreen Haugen of Camrose and Shirley Stensrud of Ryley. Albert is also survived by his sisters-in-law: Gwen Campbell of Tofield, Irene Campbell of Camrose, Marion Burnstad of Camrose, and Yvonne Campbell of Vancouver; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Albert was predeceased by his wife Louise, his parents, one sister, five brothers, and his step-son Ed Horsnett.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2009 from Bethel Lutheran Church in Camrose (4102-73 St.) with Rev. Gayla June Richards officiating. Interment followed in the Bosmans Gardens Cemetery, Round Hill.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Huntingtons Society of Canada or the charity of your choice.
