Obituary of Mildred Greenwood

Mildred was born in Viking, Alberta on July 25th, 1935. She was the youngest of five children born to Bernard and Annie Newby. She passed away on June 24, 2016 with her husband and four children at her side.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty years, Everett Greenwood; four children, Shirley (Tom) Nott, Leonard (Brenda) Greenwood, Betty (Ralph) Bellamy, Lottie (Wayne) Selzler; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Greenwood; and sister-in-law Lottie LaFleur.
She enjoyed playing cards, get togethers, cooking, travelling, sewing, many sports, bingos and casinos.
To greet her on her journey to the other side are parents, Bernard and Annie Newby; grandchild Kevin Nott; three brothers, Tom, Jim and Lawrence Newby; three brothers-in-law, Bruce and Sonny Greenwood, Don LaFleur; sister-in-law Yvonne Greenwood; parents-in-law, Thomas and Viola Greenwood; and nieces Debbie LaFleur and Cammy LaFleur-Smailes.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, Burgar Funeral Home Camrose.
If family and friends so desire memorial contributions can be made to the God's Acre Cemetery Kinsella or St.Mary"s Hospital Palliative Care.
