We always appreciated our time spent with both of your parents when they were living in Vernon and, after they moved to Edmonton, we always enjoyed your Mum's cheerful e-mails - she was so proud of you all. Dear Claire, Cindy and Heather We were so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. It came as a shock as we didn't know she was ill. Thank you for notifying us as well. Your mother was always so interesting to spend time with. She always showed such interest in our family. She was so very proud of her girls and adored her grandchildren. We have lost a very special friend. Ours was a friendship that started over 60 years ago at McGill University and continued actively with recent phone conversations plus a visit by Sue to Coldstream last June. We will miss her - our condolences to all of her family members.
