Daniel Louis Victor Demeuse of Edberg, Alberta passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 74 years.
Daniel was born in Belgium to Francois and Helen Demeuse on April 27, 1942. He came to Canada at the young age of 16 where he joined the Canadian Military. He served with the Royal 22nd regiment of Canada for 28 years, including seven years in Germany as a very highly decorated marksman. He received the Queen's Medal for best shooter of the army in 1982, to name just one of his many distinctions as a soldier.
Daniel is survived by his son David (Kayla) of Edberg and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Francois and Helen, and by his wife Jocelyne.
A private family service has taken place.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Royal Canadian Legion or to the Department of Veteran Affairs.
