Mr. Edward John Poffenroth of Camrose passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the age of 90 years.
Edward is survived by his wife Clara; children Laurie Bendfeld of Sherwood Park, Beverly (Raymond) Marquart of Castor, Dawn Poffenroth of Edmonton, Gerald (Val) Poffenroth of Bashaw, and Sharon (Murray) Schultz of Calgary; also eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Edward was predeceased by one son-in-law Reg Bendfeld, one grandson-in-law Vincent Champagne, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday July 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Pastoral Care) officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Bashaw Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Palliative Care or the Heart & Stoke Foundation.
