Mr. Peter Chrystian of Holden, passed away at the Daysland Health Center on Friday November 18, 2016 at the age of 86 years.
Peter was born on August 10, 1930 to Konstine and Ann Chrystian in the Palmer Area.
In 1944, he moved to the Round Hill Area to live with his brother Tom and attended Meldal School.
In 1960, he purchased two quarters of land in the Holden Area and resided there until his passing.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Emily Chrystian of the Holden district; daughter Annette (Ivan) Hrabec of Holden; two grandchildren, John and Katie; one brother Daniel (Phyllis) Chrystian of Edmonton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his mother and father Anna and Kost Chrystian, and four brothers and six sisters.
A prayer Vigil was held on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 7:00 pm from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church South Holden.
Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Thursday November 24, 2016 at 10:30 am from St.Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church South Holden, with Father Greg Faryna as celebrant.
Interment has taken place in the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery South Holden.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
