Obituary of Elsie Moser

Elsie Alma Moser of Camrose, formerly of Hay Lakes, AB, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the age of 90 years.
Elsie was born November 6, 1926, on a farm in the Millet, Alberta area. She was the youngest child of John and Augusta Zerbin. She grew up on the farm working hard and walking to school.
Later she married Camille Moser, building a home, milking cows and loving life. In 1956, Elsie and Camille bought the Imperial Garage in Hay Lakes, Alberta where they spent many years being garage owners. In 1970, they bought a farm near Hay Lakes and spent the next twenty-three years dairy farming and later managing a cow/calf operation. In 1993, Elsie moved to Camrose where she lived until her passing.
Elsie was involved with many organizations, from Brownies to the Circle S Club in Hay Lakes, singing her way into the hearts of all she knew and making friends everywhere she went. She was outgoing, friendly, loved by all and will be truly missed.
Left to mourn are her daughter Lois (David) King, son Lawrence Moser (Shauna Klein); grandchildren Julianne (Mike) Duffy, Andrew (Laura) Macfarlane, Amanda (Daniel) Stinson, Christopher (Randell) Moser, Camilla (Stephen) Offredi, Justin Moser, Lynette Macfarlane; great-grandchildren Ethan Stinson, Penelope Duffy, Emma Offredi, Caleb Stinson; sister-in-law Heidi Zerbin; and numerous nieces and nephews .
She was predeceased by her husband Camille Moser, brother John Zerbin, sister Hilda (Leonard) Kessir, brothers-in-law Norman (Lydia) Moser, Robert (Vivian) Moser, and sister-in-law Mabel (Ewald) Feldt.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. from CityLights Church in Camrose with Rev. Ben Kellert officiating. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
