Mrs. Bernese Avone Johnson of Camrose passed away on August 4, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Arnold Johnson of Camrose, Inet (Richard) Knull of Camrose, and Florence (Francis) Gartner of Bawlf; four grandchildren Roger, Noreen, Lloyd, Shereen; seven great-grandchildren Damian, Emily, Abby-Lynn, Monika, Riley, Laura, Rebekah. She is also survived by one sister, Angeline Nordin of Wetaskiwin.
Bernese was predeceased by her husband Alhard, one granddaughter Colleen, and one brother Vincent Berg.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the Wilhelmina Lutheran Church with Rev. Greg Kjos officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Wilhelmina Cemetery Fund or The Canadian Diabetes Association.
