Obituary of Eva Mott

Please share a memory of Eva to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eva passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19th, 2016 and has gone to join her husband Bill. Her life here on earth is over. Thank you Mom, Grandma, Great grandma for all you taught us and all your caring over the years. Thanks to everyone for all the love and support over the last few months of her journey on earth. Eva was born in Fusilier Saskatchewan, December 21st, 1926. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Herb and Conrad along with sister Esther. Life on the prairies was tough with no running water or electricity. The family moved to Alix Alberta in 1941 so they could further their high school education. Eva was then off to U of A nursing school in Edmonton where she graduated in 1948. She moved to New Denver B.C. in 1950, where she met and married Bill Mott in 1951. Barbara and Nancy were born in New Denver, then the family moved to Estevan, Saskatchewan where Jeff was born. In 1987, Bill and Eva retired back to New Denver. They had eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren who were all very dear to them. As per her request no funeral service will be held. A scattering of hers and Bills ashes will be performed by the family at a later date. If friends and family so desire, memorial contributions will be gratefully accepted to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
