The family of Arlene Hay wish to announce her passing January 26, 2017 at the age of 93 years. She spent her final years at a wonderful care facility Glastonbury Mews in Edmonton. Arlene was born in 1923 to parents Harriett and Hervey Glenn. She spent her early years in the Lousana area and obtained her nursing degree following high school. She was an excellent and caring nurse. In 1951 she and Gordon were married. Their family included Bruce (Judy), Bette (Laurie), Sharon (Grant) and Karen (Murray), as well as, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. She was active in her church, community and enjoyed bridge and social times with her extensive circle of friends. Those who knew Arlene and enjoyed her friendship knew she was always available to lend a hand and often showed up with homemade baking. She and Gordon travelled extensively after their retirements, enjoying their fifth wheel trailer and several foreign tours and cruises.
