Lloyd William Wolbeck was born to Joe and Mary Wolbeck on May 17, 1930. He passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017.
Lloyd married the love of his life and best friend Eileen on June 6, 1956. Lloyd was a man of great passion, love and generosity. His passion for baseball and farming was unwavering. From being that catcher with the steel glove to the farmer that never slept until the job was done, he gave it his all. His love for his family, friends and the Lord were unmatched. His generosity showed no boundaries and was never in short supply.
Lloyd will be greatly missed. Lloyd leaves his loving wife Eileen; his children Randy (Janet) and LeeAnne (Dave) Hanrahan; his grandchildren Barret (Angela), Nic, Steve (Shauna), Kris (Nicole), Melanie (Ryan), and Kristin (Adam); as well as his ten great grandchildren; brother Melvin and sister Caroline Volk (Wilfred). He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Doreen Weller.
Lloyd will be forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Christian Nwaigwe officiating. Inurnment has taken place at St. Martin Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Heisler at a later date.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Daysland Health Centre, or to Providence Place.
