I am shocked and saddened to hear of Cam's passing. He was an outstanding young man who lived with integrity and kindness. As he dealt with his illness and the change in direction his life was taking he did so with cheerfulness and optimism, showing maturity beyond his years. I was a year ahead of Cam in the ESET program and that is where I first got to meet this pleasant and amicable soul. I too was a member of the Reserves at Camp Aldershot, a MCpl, and despite the short time that I knew him, he touched my soul. Life is precious and I am graced and blessed to know that I am better in living my life for having known Cam. I met Cam in 2011 at the ACCA Youth Leadership Program and we went to the same camp every year together from then on. It hurts my heart to know that he passed and my greatest sympathies and love go out to all his family and friends. I will really miss you, Cam.

Cam was an incredible person who lit up the room wherever he was. He had a calm presence and gave off a sense of stability that everyone could feel. I met Cam 8 years ago at ACCA, and went through the program with him. We grew, laughed and shared together. I will truly miss him. I will remember him everytime I visit Goldeye.
