James Albert Reid of Daysland, formerly of Chance Cove, Newfoundland, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Joan (Butch) Robertson of Daysland, Cleophas (Georgina) Reid of Chance Cove, Newfoundland, Rick (Beatrice) Reid of Brampton, Ontario, and Gerald (Jeannie) Reid of Brampton, Ontario; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Ivy (Bill) Pike of St. John's, Newfoundland.
James was predeceased by his wives Minnie, Phyllis, and Mary; parents Albert and Jane Reid; and five siblings.
A funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Chance Cove, NL, on Thursday, April 13th, at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Chance Cove, NL.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Daysland Hospital Foundation.
