Wendy Nina Brett of Camrose, formerly of Edmonton, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 69 years.
Wendy was born in Camrose, the third of five children to Melvin and Johanna Thompson. She was raised on a farm in the Hay Lakes area. On March 24, 1967 she married Winston Brett and raised four children in Edmonton. Wendy and Winston retired to Camrose in 2003.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Winston; children Ron Brett of Camrose, Russell Brett of Edmonton, Robin Brett of Nordegg, and Ricki Brett of Nordegg; grandchildren Cody Mitro, Lacie Dunlop, and Brandon Cassistat; and brothers Garry Thompson of Lethbridge, and Robert Thompson of Camrose.
Wendy was predeceased by her brothers Wayne Thompson and Ricky Thompson.
A time of fellowship and remembrance took place at 1 p.m. from Wendy and Winston's home at 5006 56 St.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
