Mr. Alvin James Sicklesteel of New Norway passed away on September 28, 2009 at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his wife Marcia Pittendreich, and their children; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Lola and Mary.
He was predeceased by his infant son Mac, and an infant sister at birth.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m, on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel. (4817 51 Ave Camrose) with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Care)officiating. Interment took place in the New Norway cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions can be made to the New Norway Cemetery Fund.
