My Cousin Ron was A Talented, creative and intellectual person and a much loved member of our extended family. He created beautiful detailed glass etchings and restored his vintage car with great care and precision. Ron extended brotherly love to me after my own brother Kevin passed away. He was a great friend to Kevin who always spoke fondly of their time together. My Mom Elise and Ron spoke often and they shared confidences. I consider myself fortunate to have had such a caring cousin in my life. Miss you Ron, Lisa

Ron, I always enjoyed our conversations eventhough we didn’t always agree. You treated me with respect and taught me a great deal. Thank you ! As I compiled these photos, a smile came to my face. I won’t forget you Ron. Always - Brian

I will always remember my uncle Ron for teaching me to ski; I would be ecstatic for the one day per year that I got for this and it was he who would drive me before dawn from the foothills to Hinton for my ski rental and hot breakfast, then on to Marmott Basic in Jasper to ski until close. One of my most cherished growing-up memories! He also taught me to play badminton really well and appreciate good music like Collective Soul and Fine Young Cannibals. I miss his laughter and how he called me Kaboodle. Uncle Ron knew parts of history inside and out and always had an appreciation for great craftsmanship. I am forever grateful for his love and miss him more as time goes on.
