To all Ken's family,
I have just learned of Ken's passing...
Ken coached me and a few other gals ball in the early 1980s. The team had a few official names: "Contact Personnel" and "Hagey Refrigeration" are two; however, we liked to joke that it was really 'Hagey's Harem'. Ken knew a lot about the game and shared his knowledge with us. How he managed to run his business and 'deal' with all of us in an unknown... We worked and played hard, and had MANY good laughs playing ball 3-4 nights a week and then hitting the odd tournament. (I will post a pic.)
I last saw Ken less than two years ago; he had driven down to Calgary, from Hinton, to enjoy some live music and I spoke to him shortly after his mom passed - perhaps Christmas of 2016.
The one thing which stood out for me in our recent conversations: he was completely enamoured with his grandkids and their activities. That said, please know that wherever he is, he is watching over you.
My condolences to you all.

Well biker Ken as some of us called him can't believe you're gone. WI'll always remember you from coming into the husky. Me watching your place when you went away. The best of memories is when I was 18 you took me tubing in your boat. I decided to try water skiing and did the splits. That was the last time I ever did that again. Couldn't walk for almost a week later.Oh and then you were pulling connie and I on the tubes you had to go slow at this one point and connie and me decided to knee on the tub and you hit the throttle fast and we went flying. Never seen you laugh so hard over that. R.I.P Ken I will miss you. Xoxoxo
