Donna was an amazing light in my childhood. I always adored her and respected her wisdom. Donna had a talk with me 1 day telling me I would make a wonderful nurse. The idea that she thought I could possibly be good at something she does was amazing to me. So I set out on a course to begin a career in health care. Due to financial and family obligations I started out as a care aide; promising myself (and Donna) that I would one day follow through and get my LPN certification. The news of Donnas' passing has caused me to remember that life is too short and unreliable to wait! I have resolved to finally take my LPN as advised by Donna so many years ago. Jason and Lonny, please accept my deepest condolences. I know the feeling of losing a parent way too soon. My heart is with you and your families at this troublesome time. Your mom was a treasured gift to all that knew her. XOX

I knew Donna a long time. When she worked in the Physio Department we played together on the St. Mary's volleyball team. I also had the privilege of working with her for years at St. Mary's as Nurses together. From staff, to patients, to visitors... she was bubbly and cheerful, and always wanted the best for others. To Jason and family, Lonny, her Momma, brothers and families, and dearest Sharnelle and family, I send my deepest condolences for your loss and am praying for you. My condolences, with great sympathies to Donna's family. I worked with Donna for many years. Went beyond her duties, for her patients The best PPN . Her humor kept us all in great spirits. When she talked of her children Jason and Lonny her face would light up. She will live on .
