Dr. Devon Russell Smith of Camrose, formerly of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 58 years.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dr. Devon Smith. He went to his heavenly home, to be with the Lord, when he slipped away in his sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition on November 25, 2017. Devon will be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered. He is survived by his children Alyssa (Jesse) Archer, Andrew (Leah) Smith, Peter Smith, and Geoffrey Smith; two grandchildren; the mother of his children Kimberley Smith; siblings Melanie (Randal) Zeluf, Michael Smith, Heather (Carey) Barnstable, John (Holly) Smith, and David Smith; his parents Cyril and Jean Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Interment has taken place at the Camrose Cemetery following the service.
