Donald Ray Anderson was born September 17, 1941 in Edberg, Alberta. He passed away December 31, 2017 in Edmonton at the University Hospital due to lung infection and respiratory failure. He was predeceased by his father Wilfred Anderson; mother Lila Anderson; brother Wayne Anderson; and sister Yvonne Olson. Don is survived by his loving wife Carol Anderson; his sons Steven Anderson (Laura Lee) and Nori Anderson (Shelley); six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
An internment and viewing was held at the Highland Park Cemetery at 10 o'clock on Thursday morning, January 11, 2018, followed by a memorial service at the Ellerslie Road Baptist Church at 1 o'clock, followed by refreshments. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Gideon Society or the Alberta Lung Transplant Association.
