Linda Ruth Peters of Deer Lake, Newfoundland passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 68 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gerard; children Larry Wilton (Michelle Rice) of Deer Lake, Newfoundland, Dwayne (Rosalin) Wilton of Camrose, Calla Wilton (Jody Galloway) of Red Deer, Kerrilynn Wilton (Neil Paul) of Calgary, and and Charlotte (Craig) Peters of PEI; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings Christine Harding of Oshawa, Ontario, Glenn Haines (Merlyn) of Edmonton, Ivy (Claude) Cullihall of Westlock, Marlane Hampton (Ed Petri) of Ontario, and Lori (Wayne) Feltham of New Brunswick.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Cora Haines, and one grandchild Keri.
The funeral service was held at the Fillatre's Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery.
Linda was a strong believer in helping others, this carries on even in death through organ donation. In lieu of flowers we asked that you take a moment to strongly consider becoming an organ donor and the impact it would have on the lives of those left behind.
