Gabrielle Marie Hamel of Camrose, formerly of Elliott Lake, Ontario passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Norbert Hamel (Maybel DeLa Cruz) of Penhold, and Laurence "Laurie" Bellefeuille of Camrose; grandchildren Charlene (Jason) Wingert of Langdon, Jesse Hamel of Edmonton, and Philip Hamel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gabrielle was predeceased by her husband Oliveier; son Fernand Hamel; grandson Michael Bellefeuille; granddaughter Debbie Michetti; great-granddaughter Jaime Lynn; six brothers; and five sisters.
No public formal service will be held.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alberta Lung Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
