Obituary of Brian Powell

Brian Michael Powell from Camrose, Alberta passed away on Monday, February 27, 2018 at the age of 55 years. Brian was born on March 31, 1962 in Williams Lake, BC to Edna and Earl Powell. Brian worked as a journeyman carpenter for most of his years. He also had other odd jobs. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. He liked his friends and talked a lot about them. He loved his cat Tuffy. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Edna Powell; siblings Donald, Harry of Williams Lake, B.C., Patricia (Laurie) Wancho of Peace River, Len of Red Deer, Kenneth (Diane) of Edmonton, Cecil of Williams Lake, B.C., Cecile (Warren) Weikum of Edmonton, Ann Davidson of Camrose, and Shelly (Tim) Banks of Maidstone, Sask. Brian was predeceased by his father Earl; and brothers Garry and Dale. A Prayer Vigil was held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 from the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church. A Divine Liturgy was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 from the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Bayrock officiating.
