Obituary of Darryl "Ringo" Ring
Darryl "Ringo" Lawrence Ring of Camrose passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the age of 66 years.
Darryl was born in Camrose on January 8, 1952 to Lawrence and Viola Ring. He grew up on a farm northeast of Camrose in the Avonroy District. Darryl loved farming. He farmed with his dad from before he could reach the tractor/truck pedals up until his dad’s passing in 1995. He belonged to the Camrose 4-H Beef Club, Camrose Composite Weight Lifting Club, played football, baseball, loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He loved animals, John Deere and riding his Harley.
After completing school in the Camrose area, he worked in seismic, operated KenDar Auto Salvage and sandblasting.
Darryl loved his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Deanna "Dee"; children Cody (Leela) of Edmonton, and Dustin of Red Deer; grandchildren Kieran and Viola; and sister Janice (Dennis) Douziech of Edmonton. Ringo was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Viola Ring.
A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018, from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery.
