Mr. Anthony "Tony" Zimmer of Camrose passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lorna; children Janice (Wayne) Throndson of Camrose, Blaine (Jane) of Slave Lake, and Darryl (Leanne) of Chestemere; five grandchildren Greg, Kristina, Hayden, Abigail, and Marcus; one brother Edwin (Darlene) of Springlake area; and one sister Doris Zimmer of Edmonton.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Marie, brother Norbert and two sisters Elsie and Viola.
A Prayer Vigil was celebrated on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. from Burgar Memorial Chapel (4817 51 Ave Camrose).
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (5010 48 A Ave Camrose) with Rev. Eduardo Escober as Celebrant. Cremation to take place after the mass with Inurnment to follow in the Camrose Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, St. Mary's Hospital Chapel Fund or the Charity of ones choice.
