Ellen May Dylke
Mrs. Ellen May Dylke of Daysland, Alberta passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the age of 101 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Irene (Ralph) Omoe of Edmonton, Sister Marjorie Dylke U.J. of Edmonton, Yvonne Kunyk of Lethbridge, Elaine Dylke of Denver, Mary Garnier of Edmonton, Dennis (Maxine) of Daysland and Joseph (Mary) of Calgary; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister-in-law Evelyn Logelin of Youngstown, AB.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband Valentine "Val", two sons Rev. Richard and Willard, one grandson Shannon, one son-in-law Zane; seven brothers and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church Daysland with Rev. Leon Kler as Celebrant. Interment followed in the Daysland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Killam Long Term Care Center.
