Jim Helmig of Ankerton, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
He is survived by his three children: Jack (Cindy) of Rosalind, Rita Helmig (Larry Gibson) of Camrose and Judy Helmig (Kevin Glebe) of Sherwood Park, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his wife Geneva, parents Otto and Ruth, sister Helen Dietrich and brother Art Helmig.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m in the Rosalind Hall with Pastor Anne Laird and Rev. Kathleen Taylor officiating. Inurnment followed in the Greenview Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Greenview Cemetery or The Alberta Cancer Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
