Obituary of Milton Finley

Milt was born to Herbert and Freida Finley on July 31, 1948 at the Calgary General Hospital. After a year long battle with cancer, Milt passed away peacefully at the Cross Cancer Institute on June 20, 2010 at the age of 61 years.
Milt is survived by his wife of 41 years Heather, his two daughters Jodi (Rob) and Andrea, his twin grandson's Brandon and David, his brother Bob (Faye), sister Joan, sister-in-law Natasha. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
Milt was predeceased by his mother and father, his brother Floyd, his brother-in-law Ken and his niece Marcy.
In 1964 Milt met the love of his life Heather, thanks to her sister Sandy, who forced Heather to go bowling with Milt, the result was 44 years of a wonderful life together. The highlights of Milt's life were times spent with his family and friends. His favorite times were spent camping at Shuswap Lake, flying his hobby planes, playing darts at the Camrose Legion, and camping and golfing at Silver Creek Golf Course. In recent years Milt found a lot of love and happiness spending time with his grandsons David and Brandon.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. from the Silver Creek Golf Course Tournament House with Helen Reed officiating.
